Our History

Group 543

1961

The Industrial Olive Company of Fes (SIOF) was established by the Lahbabi family, laying its foundation with activities involving olive crushing, grignon oil extraction, and olive preservation.

1966

SIOF obtained authorization to establish a food oil refining plant, marking a pivotal milestone in its expansion.

1972

The company broadened its scope by acquiring the necessary equipment for the production of packaging and the conditioning of food oils.

1982

A modernization of the refining unit strengthened production capacity.

1986

This year witnessed SIOF's national expansion, with the opening of depots in Marrakech, Oujda, Casablanca, Oued Zem, and Meknes.

1995

The construction of the first grignon oil extraction plant further solidified SIOF's position in the market.

1996

Following the liberalization in Morocco, SIOF modernized its olive preservation unit and increased the capacity for grignon oil extraction.

2003

Following the PVC ban, SIOF initiated the modernization of all its packaging lines.

2007

This year marked the establishment of the subsidiary, Domaine El Hamd, featuring a 220-hectare olive plantation and an oil extraction unit, expanding its footprint in the olive sector.
